Kent-Coffey “Verona” Gentleman’s Chest of Drawers [Sold]

This is a stately mid-century modern gentlemen’s chest from Kent-Coffey’s ‘Verona’ line.  It is solid, sturdy, and well built with dovetail joints. The chest offers ample room for storage with three large drawers at the bottom of the chest and two drawers hidden behind the gorgeous sculpted doors, along with two small drawers perfect for accessories.

This modern dresser would be just as stylish in the bedroom, as it would be in the office behind a desk, in the living room or foyer area. The Kent-Coffey collection design is very architectural in style and that is by no coincidence. The Kent-Coffey Manufacturing Company was started in 1907 by Harold Coffey in Lenoir, North Carolina. Along with his friends, neighbors and competitors James Broyhill and John Bernhardt, he was one of the early leaders in establishing the North Carolina furniture industry in the early 1900s.
